Arsenal’s interest in potential transfer transfer for Lisbon Viktor Gyokeres sports striker seems to have been warmed up since the arrival of Andrea Berta.
Berta recently replaced Edu as his sports director at the Emirates Stadium, and he looks like an exciting appointment after his experience at the old Atlético Club in Madrid.
According to Charles Watts now it looks like Berta leads the growing interest of gunners to sign gyokeras This summer.
Speaking exclusively to Captured For his last direct daily daily column, Watts said that interest in Gyokeres has been for some time, even if it is not so strongly.
It now seems to have changed, with the Sweden International, maybe the favorite option for Berta, as the club aims to a new record for this summer.

Watts can see why Berta can lead the Arsenal in this direction, as his personal vision is also that Gyokeres would be a better option than someone like Benjamin Sesko, as well as being more realistic than Alexander Isak in Newcastle.
“It was interesting to see the new links to Viktor Gyokeres this week after the designation of Andrea Berta,” said Watts.
)There is always interest in gyokesAlthough it has been relatively lukewarm in the afternoon. So it is interesting that it seems that the interest seems to have warmed up on Berta’s arrival.
“We will have to see if it goes further and I think it will certainly show Berta’s influence if he does, because it is quite clear that Mikel Arteta may have had other goals in mind.
“We know that his dream sign would be Alexander Isak, but this seems totally unreal to me and the last Arsenal needs this summer would be a prolonged persecution for a goal that is very unlikely to achieve.
“So Arteta could need a bit of convincing when focusing on other goals and Berta obviously will play a great role in it.
“It clearly likes Gyokeras, as the previous links we have seen between the striker and Atlético Madrid, so it would make sense to now seek to bring it to northern London.
“From a personal point of view, I think I would prefer Benjamin Sesko.
“I like Sesko of what I have seen of him and I would not disappoint if I ended up being the striker than Arsenal Land, but I would be more confident in Gyokeras who hit the ground.
“I like the live show he is. It’s about scoring goals with him. Yes, there will be doubts about whether he could keep the type so he has produced in Portugal in the Premier League, but I’m sure he would score goals here.”
