Oleksandr Ulsyk has been at a good point since he made the jump to heavyweight.
This past weekend, Utsyk looked spectacular in his re -broadcast against Daniel Dubois. USYK made it look even easier than he was the last time these two faced almost two years ago. USYK dominated the action from start to finish, and he stopped Dubois in round 5.
The victory has technically made a two -time indisputed world champion for heavyweight, although it is really just a technical. USYK never lost the IBF belt in the ring, he lost it due to alphabet politics. With the victory over Dubois, USyk is now universally recognized as the only champion for heavyweight by all four alphabet bodies. He is also the ruling ring Magazine Heavyweight Champion, and he also has a legitimate claim as the linear world champion for heavyweight, dating to John L Sullivan.
Only eight battles have fought against five different opponents since he acted after winning the Cruiserweight division, where he was also undisputed. Indeed, Utsyk had six title fights at Heavyweight, where he had only three different opponents. USYK has some impressive victories over Anthony Joshua, a few more impressive victories against Tyson Fury, and now he has beaten Dubois twice. What is the most impressive of these is the fact that Fury and Joshua, when he jumps on the start, are generally considered the two best heavyweights on the planet, and USKOK beat them twice twice.
Oleksandr Ulsyk is working on a very nice heavyweight legacy for itself, despite having only eight battles in the weight class.
