Itauma is only 20 years old. His professional record is a perfect 12-0 with 10 wins coming inside the distance. Itauma is generally considered a future superstar in the heavyweight section, where many people believe he will be a future heavyweight champion. Itauma is largely unproven, and has so far only fought 25 rounds in his professional career. He is largely unproven and untested, especially with regard to his endurance, his heart and his ability to take a good punch. But what itauma has proven so far is that he has very quick hands, a tremendous ability to counteract, and he has incredible knockout power in both hands.
In the other corner is 37 years old, and its professional record is 31-3 with 21 wins coming within the distance. Whyte has been on a three -fighting line since he lost his title shot against Tyson Fury in April 2022. Surprisingly, that fight took place before Itauma even made his professional debut. In his last three fights, Whyte won a 12 -round majority decision against Jermaine Franklin, and then last March he beat Christian Hammer, and in his most recent battle in December last December he stopped Ebenezer Tetteeh. Whyte has the clear lead in experience where he competes at or near the upper level for the past ten years.
