There was an emotional exchange for Eddie Nketiah as he met a familiar face after arriving at the Crystal Palace.
It is not clear if the lady was a family friend, but the pair clearly knew each other and she admits she ‘used to change his nappies’ which made the 25-year-old laugh.
Although Nketiah has made a name for himself in North London, he is from the south side of the River Thames, and it is understood that in his youth, he would play football on pitches that were not far from Selhurst Park.
Now he has the chance to fly high with the Eagles for the 2024/25 campaign.
