There are some benefits who want to change putters every week or even among the rounds of an event (seeing you, Hydeki!). But there are many more who stick with a club after finding what it works, like Victor Hovland.
Hovland’s Ping PLD Ds72 Hovi Proto He had been the only one he would have used for the entirety of his career at PGA Tour (a rarity even for the most difficult benefits of changing) until the beginning of this year, when he tried a new prototype prototype ping.
The change was short -lived. While the results did not withdraw immediately for the FedEx 2023 Cup champion – Hovland lost three straight cuts, including genesis – it turns out that the gameman had to only feel threatened to return.
Returning to the DS72, which was simply known as the proto jerk until Ping finally began the retail under the DS72 designation, Hovland was second in the field in the wins: placement in the Valsspar championship, taking more than 7.3 strokes with a flat stick. This helped him capture Justin Thomas with a blow to his first victory since the title of FedEx Cup.
Think you want to try the same stick as hovland? Ping offers the edition of Hovland than DS72 Hovland and is available in Fairway Jockey.
This is a special publication that offers the reflection of Hovland’s Hovland completion. It comes with a special edition of the Black and Orange PLD and a matching black and orange head, paying homage to the soats of Oklahoma State Hovland.
