There are some benefits who want to change putters every week or even among the rounds of an event (seeing you, Hydeki!). But there are many more who stick with a club after finding what it works, like Victor Hovland.

Returning to the DS72, which was simply known as the proto jerk until Ping finally began the retail under the DS72 designation, Hovland was second in the field in the wins: placement in the Valsspar championship, taking more than 7.3 strokes with a flat stick. This helped him capture Justin Thomas with a blow to his first victory since the title of FedEx Cup.
