Your early lead in the Valspar Championship is Im Sungjae. Twice PGA Tour The winner went seven-under through his first 10 holes Thursday, then played in par the rest of the way to shoot a 64. His seven-under total gives him a one-shot lead heading into Friday’s second round.
In second place is the veteran of the tournament Brandt Snedeker. The 45-year-old nine-time winner of the tournament, who will captain the US President’s Cup team later this year, shot 65 on the first day. He is looking for his first win since 2018.
Xander Schauffele AND Matt Fitzpatrick will start the 2nd round tied at three under, while Jordan Spieth it’s another shot back at two under.
