Jose ‘Rayo’ Valenzuela (14-2, 9 costs) is ready to deliver an impressive performance in his first defense of his WBA Light Welterweight title against Gary Antuanne Russell (17-1, 17 COs) in the 12-round main support in the Gervonta Davis against Lamont Roach Card, on March 1 in the Barclays Centre, New York.
Valenzeula Russell should be the most important event on this map because it is a more even competition than the Davis-Roach headlist. That fight is considered a mismatch. Rayo again transferred himself into a Lomachenko copy. The transformation he did with his style is impressive because he is not fighting anything as he used to.
