Tyson Fury screams about revenge and a trilogy at Wembley, but Team Ulsyk is not taking the bait yet. While Fury bowled out a return date on Instagram on April 18, 2026, Oleksandr Usyk’s camp kept it simple: Beat Daniel Dubois first, Then we might entertain your little London fantasy.
Sergey Lapin, who is the head of Utsyk’s team and his promotional outfit “ready to fight”, made it clear in a statement to ESPN that their focus on the Dubois match was closed on July 19. No inferences. No drama. No premature local announcements.
Lapin Icees the Trilogy Talk (for now): “We are focused on making history”
“The idea of a third battle with Tyson Fury has been on the table between our teams since their second game,” Lapin said. “And I’ve never had doubts that we could convert it into a reality with Goldstar promotions.”
Translation: It’s not off the table … but that’s not the priority either.
He continued: “At the moment, Oleksandr Ulsyk and our team are fully focused on the upcoming battle with Dubois and to achieve the historical goal of becoming a three -time undisputed world champion. If this goal is reached, and the dust sits, we will be open to the next round.”
Why don’t Usyk’s camp play Fury’s game?
In other words: No, Tyson, you don’t have to set the schedule. Fury, of course, wants a third battle on his conditions – in England, where he claims to get a ‘fair scream’. The man who lost both fights on points now wants a commemoration with Homefield standings. Classic.
But USyk’s side does not chase it. They first got Dubois from Wembley, and this is a struggle with real consequences. If usyk again wins and a three-time undisputed champion will then see us a trilogy. But if you think they are rearranging their 2026 plans because of Fury’s Instagram post, think again.
