United three belt champion Oleksandr Ulsyk and IBF belt holder Daniel Dubois meet for the undisputed heavyweight championships in a Rematch on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London.
Wembley doubts
The performance of the Rematch at Wembley Stadium is a questionable step by the promoters, as there is not enough interest from fans to see the USYK at Dubois 2 Rematch to sell the venue. It would be better to set it up at Wembley Arena.
Dubois, 27, may be making a mistake by choosing to take the rematch with USyk, because if he loses this battle, it’s going to take the air out of his rejuvenated career. He recently climbed his way to the top with three consecutive wins over Anthony Joshua, Filip Hrgovic and Jarrell Miller.
Their fight was pushed back a week from July 12 as the New York City event was staged on that day, with Shakur Stevenson fighting William Zepeda in a must-see battle and several other good games on the map. Ring magazine broke the news about the new fighting date for the USYK Dubois 2 Rematch.
Fans have mixed reactions to the USYK Dubois Rematch that is happening now. Many people prefer to see usyk defend against WBO mandatory Joseph Parker Rather than seeing a second fight between USyk (23-0, 14 food) and Dubois (22-2, 21 COs). They have already seen Dubois stop when the corridor became difficult against Oleksandr two years ago, and they are not very excited to see the two fighting again.
Other fans want to see Anthony Joshua fight with Dubois again to see if he can avenge his fifth round loss from September 21 last year. There is a lot of interest from people to see if AJ can reverse things or be sent by Dubois by Dubois by Dubois.
To take revenge
Dubois finally gets the opportunity to avenge his ninth round out loss to USyk from two years ago on August 26, 2023 in Wroclaw, Poland. This is the battle that many fans believe that Dubois was robbed of a knockout after dropping USyk in fifth with a body shot. The referee decided a low blow.
USYK ruined the British heavyweight scene by hand and beat the three fighters that the British fans followed:
– Tyson Fury x 2
– Anthony Joshua x 2
– Daniel Dubois
