While Oleksandr utilities in silence or shadow boxing in a dark room, Daniel Dubois allegedly stepped over sausage rolls and tried to keep strangers out of the lower floor thanks to his father who had a fighting day in a full-fledged Essex garden party.
According to The timesDaniel’s father, Stanley, thought it was a cracking idea to host seventy people at the family home. On the actual day of battle. Not a press opportunity. Not a sending. Just a big hard knee at home where Daniel still lives.

So, while Ushyk’s camp probably smelled of deep heat and laser focus, Dubois apparently held on to listen to a little block in the kitchen and asked if there would be jello shots before they were all heading to Wembley.
Dubois is known for being a quiet boy – keeping himself, getting the job done, doesn’t say much. Exactly the opposite of whatever it was. The word is, the house has packed and hard that Daniel just gets in his car and drives. Not to clear his head before the biggest battle in his life – to get away from Uncle Keith and ask if he can bring his missus and her partner to the ring walk.
Too many guests, no plan
Then came the travel genius. Stanley – who apparently realizes that he has created a non -official fan area in his own home – has tried to sort out extra cars to take everyone to Wembley. It hovered. What did he do then? Drove Daniel himself.
Except … the car was not accredited for access to fighter aircraft.
So the IBF heavyweight champion walked through the Wembley parking lot as if he were late for a job interview at the hot dog stand. No entourage. No tunnel step. Just Daniel, probably wondering how it all went sideways.
Even better – there is reportedly a video of Stanley who has security, and refuses to let Daniel enter unless his entire crowd can come in as well. Nothing sets the tone for a world title fight as your father tries to bribe a rentman with a Greggs sausage roll while Sharon screams it directly on Facebook “We are promised VIP!”
Walking like a fan to the ring
While all the madness happened, Utskyk was somewhere calm, creepy and clinical. No noise. No drama. Just turn up and do what he does – and in round 5 he dubbed Dubois with a punch named “Ivan.” Not anyone from the party. A proper, sharp right that ended the night.
Meanwhile, Daniel looked like someone who didn’t have a moment of peace all day. His father allegedly barked over his coach during the fight – who shouted at the angle time.
Nothing helps during a heavyweight war like your old man who weighs over the top of the blocks paid to keep you alive.
Daniel was not exceeded because of a lack of heart this time – he was just buried under the madness. You practice for months, prepare like a pro, and still play a party host on Fight Day. Not exactly textbook preparation.
Loose dad at the bar
Sometimes dads just have to stay in the bar. Not rings. Not barking with the coach. Just in a corner with a pint, a packet of Scampi -Patat, and no access to the security gate.
Daniel deserves better. Next time, no guest list, no buffet, no coaching for rear seats – just a straight path to the ring and no one has hampered the last sausage roll.
