USTA launches online coaching center – Tennis Now

American tennis participation is growing, and the USTA is trying to help the playing population learn the sport by launching a new online coaching center.

To meet the growing demand of America’s 25 million tennis players, USTA Coaching today announced the launch of a new online learning center at USTACoaching.comdesigned to “expand, professionalize and democratize the training pipeline nationwide.”

The USTA said the new online coaching center is designed to meet the need many communities face for a lack of experienced and certified tennis coaching.

Despite record levels of play, many communities face limited access to educated and certified coaches. The new online learning center makes coach education accessible to anyone, anywhere, empowering not only seasoned professionals but also newcomers to the sport, including those who train informally at home or in their local communities. The platform provides a particularly valuable starting point for parents keen to support their child’s early tennis development in a structured and informed way.

With more than 83 modules, 1,500+ hours of learning content, AI role-playing scenarios, 15 badges—including Intro to Coaching, Girl Empowerment, Wheelchair, Middle School, and more—various USTA Coaching certifications and recognition of multiple equivalency levels, PTR-related, and online learning. avenue for coaches at every level to enhance their skills and credentials. Since the launch of USTA Coaching, over 5,500 coaches have already joined the platform.

Registration fees for the new platform are:

Baseline (free): Introductory education for parents, PE teachers and new coaches, with basic modules and youth resources.

Rally ($49 per year): Full access to the learning center, webinars and role-specific education tracks for emerging coaches.

Pro ($149/year): Advanced content, business tools, and invitations to exclusive events for part-time or full-time coaches.

Pro Plus ($249 per year): Comprehensive access to the tools and resources above, along with insurance and premium experiences for full-time professionals.
