Question: Hey, boss! What’s a fun game I can practice with to build confidence for my next round? -Johnson L., Lexington, Ky
Whenever you’re looking for quick safety around the greens, I suggest you loft to a 52-degree wedge or wedge, staying about two to four feet from the green on the edge. The lower loft will help you create an efficient and slightly shorter swing than if you were just catching your lob.
A good game to play is to pick up a ball and hit six shots, with the goal of hitting all six within eight feet. The better you get at this workout, the smaller you can reach your goal. (Shhh… Tournament players aren’t looking to chip every shot, but they are looking for every shot to finish within four feet.).
