The USTA announced today that a new, immersive physical playing space – the first of its kind ‘Advantage Arena’ – is coming to the 2024 US Open, as the USTA continues to engage millions of tennis and game fans around the world.
Advantage Arena will allow fans to play and engage with a variety of on-court tennis-themed games and experiences at the US Open, including Fortnite, US Open: Champions of the Court on Roblox, TopSpin 2K25 and Tennis Clash. Advantage Arena will be open to all US Open patrons throughout the duration of the tournament, beginning with Non-Participating Fan Week, August 19-25.
Located inside the Chase Center on the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Advantage Arena will feature 13 playable game stations where fans can compete against each other. Fans attending the US Open and visiting Advantage Arena will have a chance to win over 3,500 prizes, ranging from free copies of TopSpin 2K25 Standard Edition, a total of over 600,000 in-game redemptions on Roblox and other unique unlockable within Tennis Clash.
Highlighting the playable games is ‘Tennis Storm’, a new player-vs-player game created at UEFN and integrated into TikTokers’ Birdo Island and Dagwummy’s Minigame Box PvP Fortnite, created exclusively for the US Open. Players use tennis rackets to hit explosive tennis balls scattered around an arena to eliminate opposing players and the last player standing wins.
The arena will also feature stations for fans to immerse themselves in the US Open: Champions of the Court – a virtual world that launched last year featuring singles and doubles matches against professional players, treasure hunts and obstacle courses known as ‘Obbys ‘ – featuring the Ralph Lauren Ball Crew Obby and a refreshed, holiday-themed Obby featuring a brand new culinary experience at the Emirates ‘Fly Better’ adventure zone.
The experience also features the all-new Polo Ralph Lauren Photo Quest, giving US players a chance to win real-life Ralph Lauren merchandise.
