Undefeated Champ clashes with Khegai

WBO featherweight champion Rafael ‘El Divino’ Espinoza (27-0, 23 KOs) weighed in at 125.4 lbs, while challenger Arnold Khegai (23-2-1, 14 KOs) also came in at 125.4 lbs at Friday’s weigh-in against the Arena on November 15th, the match for their bout. Mexico.

A busy night for ‘El Divino’

It’s a busy fight for the undefeated Espinoza, who has been out of action since May 4, 2025, when he stopped Edward Vazquez in seven rounds. Espinoza, 6’1″, has been shunned by the top fighters at 126 because his size, strength and skills make him too dangerous for the popular fighters to tangle with.

Saturday’s Espinoza vs. Khegai event will be shown live on Top Rank Classics Fast Channel from 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT.

Torrez Jr. take a step back in class

2020 Olympic Silver Medalist Richard Torrez Jr. (13-0, 11 KOs) takes on Tomas Salek (23-7, 14 KOs) in a 10-round fight. It’s a big step down in class for 26-year-old southpaw Torrez Jr. from his last fight against Guido Vianello earlier this year on April 5, 2025. But with Top Rank’s eight-year deal with ESPN expiring last July, it’s understandable why he’s not facing a bigger name.

Will Itauma dare? Silence So far

“I want that fight. I want that Itauma fight. I think so will be a great fight,” Torrez Jr. told Sean Zittel on X about his interest in fighting Moses Itauma. “If anybody wants to know if he’s ready for Usyk or not, check me out. I’m a lefty, I have pressure, I hit a lot.”

So far there has been no word from Moses Itauma as to whether he will Torrez Jr. will not take him up on his offer to fight him. Given the high risk associated with the British fighter, Itauma, it is unlikely that he will act.

“Everybody says you can’t have a heavyweight that’s a Mexican champion, and I want to prove them wrong. I want to be the first. Well, not the first. I want to be the second. I want him to be the first guy to defend a world title belt,” Richard Torrez Jr. said. Gabe Rivas.

“I want to get to that No. 1 spot. It gives me that drive. He’s a good European fighter. He’s a veteran,” Torrez Jr. said. said about his opponent, Tomas Salek. “I’m excited to show what I have to offer. We’ve been training really hard for the last two and a half months. I’ve been out since April. It’s been one of my longest layoffs in my professional career. I’m really excited to get back in that ring.”
