An umpire chair that constantly deceived the point system has been banned.
Dominican chairs Juan Gabriel Castro It has been suspended for six years and fined $ 6,000 after 12 violations of the anti -corruption tennis program, the International Tennis Integrity Integrity Agency announced today.
Castro, a national level official, did not respond to the ITIA charge, which was related to three matches, in which the official claimed to have manipulated the note to oppose the outcome card and to facilitate corruption.
According to the 2025 TACP, a ‘considerable sanction’ can be issued to individuals who choose not to respond to the Ita’s investigation and arbitration process. Individuals have 10 working days to appeal to the establishment of a sanctions considered to an independent anti -corruption hearing officer. Castro did not appeal.
The time served under temporary suspension is credited against the disability period. Castro has been temporarily suspended since November 7, 2024, as such, their suspension will end on November 6, 2030.
During the disability period, Castro is forbidden to officially officially or participate in an authorized or sanctioned tennis event by members of ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tenis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimledon and Usta) or any national association.
