Don’t be fooled by this hold @RCBTweets. He will be happy to get 3rd place @ 11 crores. Redeeming it with an RTM card is too risky. I hope so @DineshKarthik reads this. https://t.co/r9A4M9406w

It goes without saying that it is very risky to auction Rajat in the hope of buying it back at a lower price. One of the top 10% T20.
There is no point in increasing the budget in the hope of getting KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant who have been average since years. https://t.co/QoV0SWKAuf

What an incredible innings by Rajat Patidar! Scoring a hundred in just 68 balls in the Ranji Trophy is no small feat. He definitely makes a statement on the pitch!

It scares me to hear the news that Rajat cannot be saved. I feel risky trying to use RTM, I think its price goes to 10+ cr easily. Teams will know we’re going to use RTM, they’ll increase the bid, push us. it’s better to keep it.

An important return to form
Patidar’s performance in the Ranji Trophy came as a much-needed revival. He had a slow start to the domestic season, managing just 146 runs in six innings in the Duleep Trophy and struggled in the early rounds of the Ranji season. However, he started to show signs of recovery as he turned 90 Punjab in the previous round. This last century restored Madhya Pradesh’s reputation as one of the most reliable batsmen. Patidar, who was instrumental in Madhya Pradesh’s 658-run title-winning campaign in the 2021-22 season with two centuries and five half-centuries, continues to prove his value to the team as a middle-order stalwart.
