Between the second day of the opening exam Pakistan and West Indies Pakistan started their first innings at 143 for 4 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Saud Shakil and Mohammad Rizvan in the crease. Pakistan’s batting line-up suffered a significant setback as they lost the last six wickets for just 43 runs, ending their first innings with just 230 runs. Especially West Indies bowlers Jayden Seales and Joel Warricanhe used the conditions effectively. Seales claimed an early three-wicket haul by demolishing Pakistan’s top order, while Warrican added three more to his tally as he completed the innings. The fall of wickets was fast with key players like Rizwan and Mr. Salman but also succumbed to the pressure and left Pakistan in a dangerous situation.
West Indies struggle against the brilliance of Noman Ali and Sajid Khan
In response, West Indies faced a difficult task. Their innings got off to a disastrous start as they were reduced to 10 for 2 in just two overs. Noman Ali and Sajid Khan They were ruthless with the bowling, taking full advantage of the spin-friendly conditions. Ali was particularly impressive, securing five wickets for just 39 runs in 11 overs. Khan supported him well with four wickets for 65 runs in 12 overs. The West Indies batting line-up crumbled under pressure, managing just 137 runs before being bowled out for just over 25 runs.

Pakistan’s leadership
At the end of Day 2, Pakistan took a lead of 202 runs. They were 109 after losing three quick wickets but still maintained control of the match. Shan Massoud led from the front with a solid knock of 52 runs before being run out. Muhammad Hurreira contributed a prudent 29 runs as the team looked to extend their lead further. Despite some setbacks in the second innings, the Pakistani bowlers had built a strong platform for victory.
