With India needing 30 runs in the final over, Rahman stepped up to defend the total for Afghanistan. The pressure was on as Ramandeep managed to hit two boundaries but eventually fell victim to the last ball of the match and India were stranded at 186/7.
The match ended with Afghanistan not only securing their place in the final against Sri Lanka A, but also celebrating a hard-fought victory in their cricketing journey.
