Ryan Garcia posted his response to X on the snitching of Bill and Devin Haney at the Ring Awards in London last Saturday night. The Haneys confronted Garcia as he left, and Bill barked, “You duck.”

It’s clear that Bill & Devin are absolutely desperate to make the rematch with Garcia as this is the biggest payday available for Dev and he needs to avenge the embarrassment he suffered at the hands of Kingry last April in front of a packed Barclays Center Arena in Brooklyn, New York. York.
The alternatives for Haney aren’t that good if he can’t get the rematch with Ryan. Turki Al-Shiekh will want Devin to fight someone with talent, and he can crumble if the guy has power. A loss to Haney would permanently ruin his chances of a rematch with Garcia, and you have to wonder how Turki will view him afterward. He could wear out his welcome with another loss.
Garcia said that Bill and Devin would have to drop their lawsuit against him for any chance of negotiating a fight. So far they haven’t. So it’s unclear why the Haneys continue to discuss making the rematch with Ryan a “priority” in 2025.
Garcia says it’s not just the lawsuit that stands in the way of a reunion with Garcia. They will have to agree to another drug testing agency because Kingry refuses to use VADA. He feels it is “fishy” that Bill is pushing so hard for that agency, and he’s suspicious.
