How to watch Cognizant Classic
After an exciting few weeks out west that saw a win Scottie Scheffler and a near miss from Rory McIlroyThe PGA Tour heads to Florida this week for the Cognizant Classic.
The PGA National Champions Course, which hosted the 1987 PGA Championship, has hosted this week PGA Tour event, formerly the Honda Classic, since 2007.
This year the tournament is sandwiched between four Signature Events, and as a result many top players are out. It also suffered a number of withdrawals earlier this week, including from top players Ben Griffin and Adam Scott, as well as last week’s Genesis winner Jacob Bridgeman.
The highest ranked players on the field now are Ryan Gerard (26) and European Ryder Cup star Shane Lowry (31).
But the Cognizant Classic will also have a five-time major winner Brooks Koepkawho is making the third start of his PGA Tour return this week. Koepka will look to take advantage of the relatively weak field to put an early peak on his comeback.
NBC and Golf Channel will provide television coverage of the 2026 Cognizant Classic, while PGA Tour live on ESPN+ will offer broadcast coverage and featured group coverage throughout the week. peacock will air simulcasts of NBC’s coverage.
