of PNC Championshipwhich reunites golf legends with family members, begins this weekend. But the PNC isn’t the only offseason event on the calendar this week. On Wednesday, golf fans will witness the first Optum Golf Channel Games.
In this event, world no Scottie Scheffler and world number 2 Rory McIlroy will captain two teams of four players through a series of skill competitions. These matches include a timed car race, a timed short game, a 14-club challenge, a team relay and, finally, a one-on-one skills match between Scheffler and McIlroy.

McIlroy’s team will be featured Shane LowryLuke Donald AND Haotong Li. It will be joining the Scheffler team Keegan Bradley, Sam Burns AND Luke Clanton.
The tournament will be played at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Fla., and the action begins Wednesday night.
