Turki Alalshikh moved the Canelo Alvarez against Terence Crawford to September 13. Depending on the best agreement, the location will be one of the five. So far, the potential locations are Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles. It has been rumored before that it was staged at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It is unclear what kind of transaction Turki wants for the Canelo against Crawford landing. Whoever lands it will bend backwards to offer it.

Mike Coppinger revealed The news of Turtki moving the Canelo-Crawford match to a new day. Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 food) will defend his undisputed super-middleweight championships he just won on May 3 in a defective victory over William Scull.
Fans are largely careless about the move from the collision of September 12 to the 13th. It is not a big deal to be moved one day. We assume that none of these two outdated fighters sustained injuries during training camp that delay. These are not spring chicks we are talking about.

Khan fought Canelo long ago. It is difficult to suggest that he is successful at the vintage version of the Mexican star. Even this version of Canelo would have been a nightmare for Khan if he fought in 2016.

Sports value?
Most of the issues people have about Canelo fighting against 37-year-old junior middleweight Crawford (41-0, 31 COs) is that it is a gimmick -guestWithout legitimacy, designed to create publicity, but without any sports value. Crawford is nearly 40, will never have fought at 168 for more than a year, and have no intention to stay in the division afterwards. How long before it turns into a false, non-sports?
Canelo looked like a 40+ years old in his last battle, and worked on a 12-round decision on William Scull. Alvarez offered only a small 152 strokes, and 56 Crawford looked almost as bad and won a questionable decision of 12 round over Israil Madrimov on August 3.
Bud seems to be functioning at 60% of what he was in his previous struggle 13 months earlier against Errol Spence in 2023. It shows you the disadvantage of what happens when fighters take a year off between fights for four consecutive years. Their skills erode “The big struggle.”
