Jack Catterall posted directly to Turki Alalshikh on social media and said he would fight whoever he chooses, and he will have the amount of “Feints and Jabs ” He uses. Catterall said he would even put it in the contract. Turki answered favorably and said, “Done.”

It could be impossible for Catterall to change his ways not to come to the ring, and to run the ring. He is not nickname ‘The British link’ for nothing. He is straight out of the Stevenson form with his Jerry style of fighting.
Welterweight Apex predators awaiting Catterall
You take it out of him, and you have a simple fighter with no power, and completely out of his element in the welterweight section with the peak predators that feed on light hits.
If Turki is going to pick up any value from the use of the refurbished Catterall, he must match one of these fighters:
– Shakhram Giyasov
– Karen Chukhadzhian
– Eimantas Stanionis
The welterweight section is now so weak that it is difficult to find even a half -decent fighter. Devin Haney is about to be destroyed in his next fight. So he will not be useful. Ryan Garcia looked mentally and physically a caricature of the fighter he was a year ago, when he humiliated Haney.
Catterall does not deserve a title shot after his actions against Harlem Eubank Jr., loss of Arnold Barboza Jr., or the defense style he showed against regis Prograis.
‘Unconpable’ battle to a new contract
Catterall’s last battle against Harlem Eubank Jr. (21-1, 9 COs) on July 5 was described as’Unwatchable ‘ by fans because of both fighters’ reluctance to get involved. That was the type of fight Turki wouldn’t enjoy watching, because both guys played it safely. For Catterall, it was a typical performance by him, because he always fought like that. It wasn’t out of the norm.
