Liverpool’s manager, Arne Slot, has confirmed that the key player Trent Alexander-Arnold will be injured for the crucial game of this week’s Carabao Cup Cup against Tottenham.
The International of England has been vitally important for Liverpool this seasonAs it has been in recent years, and it will probably not be easy for reds to overcome a 1-0 deficit from the first stage with one of its most important players.
Slot has confirmed that Alexander-Arnold had some pain after victory in Bournemouth, so he seems to be out of the game against Spurs in Anfield on Thursday evening.
See below Ian Doyle’s publication on x about the situation …
Trent slot: Tomorrow you will miss the game and you will have to see if it is available for Sunday. You saw that you left the pain with a little pain in your leg, but it is already on the pitch, not with the team, but with the rehabilitation coach. To see how long it will take

Conor Bradley should be able to intervene by Alexander-Arnold, and has shown that he can do a good job in this position before, but LFC will not have to doubt that this does not end up being too long a problem.
Liverpool will miss Trent Alexander-Arnold against Tottenham
Liverpool lost 1-0 to Tottenham in the first part of this tie, but probably will still be the favorites in general to reserve and reserve a place in the Carabao Cup final.
The Spurs have not had the best of the seasons, but we also know that they may surprise the great games and will surely be driven by the absence of Alexander-Arnold.
Small details like this can make a difference in nearby games, so it will be interesting to see if Ange Postecoglou is able to take advantage of this key absence and orient yourself on the right side of Liverpool.
Looking forward, Liverpool might have to learn to get used to play without Alexander-Arnold, as it is now very close to the end of the contract.
The 26 -year -old young man could be a free agent this summer and one imagine if he was staying in Liverpool we would have heard something more encouraging on the front.
