Burns coach Brad Pulli explains that it serves as a simple memory and that the formed control has been a long -term training aid for Burns.
“It just allows him to put his hands there and feel where his control should be,” Pull says.
So why so many elite ball strikers like Burns and Scheffler include such a simple training aid in their practice sessions?

“The small chances of laying the hands can affect the elements in the bottom flow in player oscillations like their attitude, how they use the ground, where the swinging goes out, the shape of the shot – all of these things are related to how they put their hands in the club,” Plecker says.
