Tottenham were inclined to sell the January signing for 70 million

Tottenham have been tipped to make a massive profit on one of their signings.

Spurs signed defender Radu Dragusin from Genoa in January and the centre-back has warmed the club’s bench after returning to play with his first-choice defenders.

The 22-year-old has barely played and has now been backed to leave the club after just nine months at the club.

Due to Micky van de Ven’s injury in the match against Newcastle United, the defender was selected as a starter.

However, in the next game against Arsenal, he is expected to be sidelined.

The owner of FC Steaua Bucharest, George ‘Gigi’ Becali, claims during a conversation with fans that the defender can be sold in the future by Spurs for 70-80 million euros.

“He (Dennis Man) is a valuable player, of European stature, but players of 60/70/100 million euros, these are the… I told you 30 million euros for DrăguÈ™in and that’s why they went to sell, 30 million euros”. he said

“DrăguÈ™in is a central player. He can grow. how old is he (He is 22 years old.) DrăguÈ™in, yes. It can be sold for 70-80 million euros. He is young, he is tall, central. You rarely find that.”

It’s hard to see him going for that money if he barely plays for Spurs.

Ange Postecoglou should give the defender more opportunities to prove his talent at the club.
