Top Adjustment enters the second year: title app and future of choosing golf ball

Nearly 12 months after Title started its appropriate ball appIt’s time to check and see how this golf game service is working, how it is expanding and what the future can hold.

Let’s start with a dizzying reality: most players are not yet suitable for golf balls. This strikes me as strange, given that the ball is the only part of the equipment used in each single blow. However, some players still believe the ball doesn’t matter. Many others claim that “cannot show the difference” between golf balls.

Again this is wild for me.

Golfists will go to great lengths to call leaders and I have never had a single golf player tells me that they cannot show the difference between drivers (or handcuffs for that issue). However, from the years of testing clubs and cannons, I can tell you that there is more differentiation of performance between golf balls than there are among drivers.

Many of you are missing.

Given this, while the main purpose of the app suitable for the title ball is to help you find the right ball (and play better for it), is also about raising awareness, bringing the ball that fits into the forefront of the conversation and perhaps even one day raising it to the same level of importance as adapting the club.

The appropriate title ball app represents a step in that direction, though the length of that step is still measuring. As we approach the one -year sign, let’s consider how it is reshaping this tool how players approach, what can only be the most overlooked part of the equipment in their bag.

Title ball mounting

The appropriate app for the title ball is driven by the data

The ball fit app is one of the four ways the title can fit you for a golf ball.

“We have the online selector tool, we have virtual equipment, we have tournament -level equipment and then last year we made the app,” explains Steve Coan, the Golf Ball Fitting and Education title director.

Suitable experience for full tournaments, where you play some holes, is definitely out of the reach of most players. The appropriate ball app is the next best thing. You hit balls while using title ball flight patterns and algorithms to generate recommendations based on data collected during your assembly.

Title also offers virtual equipment -A half hour consultation where a suitable understands your game and makes recommendations.

“It’s a more nuanced conversation compared to the strict questions and answers you get in a purely digital experience,” Coan says.

The more data you can provide, the better – especially if you have metrics such as swing speed, start, rotation or, ideally, the landing angle.

Finally, there is a Quick Mounting Online where you answer the questions and get a recommendation.

Among these four options, you get what reaches the best, the best, the best, the best and, I think, better than nothing. Means that equipment within persons is better. The philosophy of the title for the title is that the best devices are the ones where you hit balls along with a knowledgeable adapter.

When you do this, you know that the inputs (data) are real and accurate. This includes appropriate metrics that matter, the most important is the landing angle. Because the process uses a set initial base (2025 Pro V1), you can get a great recommendation without having to try everything in the lineup.

All you need is 12 shakes (partial wedge, full wedge, 7-hook, driver) and 15-20 minutes from your time and you will get your best bet from one of the four balls in the title performance catalog.

I should probably even mention the equipment are free.

Mounting the ball from the numbers

The title began the Fitting Ball app last June and, so far, it has completed more than 14,000 devices. According to Coan, the company expects that number to be more than twice by the end of this season when the appropriate interior team hits the road.

It is always interesting to see which models are recommended on the accessories. Here is the current division.

Pro v1x It is still the most recommended option. Been is selected in more than half of the equipment so far. Recommendations include golf players across the full spectrum of swing speed, running against the myth that slow swingers serve better with softer golf balls. The reality is that most players would take advantage of the highest flight and more spins on their access shots (and more rolls about green) and this is exactly what Pro V1X offers.

For v1 Line approximately 40 percent of the recommendations. This number has been dragged a little since the release of the 2025 model. “We have seen pro v1 jump a little, not surprisingly, because we are doing a little more rotation from it,” Coan explains.

The rest of the results are evenly divided between Two other title urethran options – Pro V1X Left left and Avx. Both are lower rolls compared to Pro V1 and Pro V1x. The left -ward is stronger and the highest flight while AVX is softer and lower flying.

Title ball appropriate app can help you find the best ball for your game

extension

Since the start of the Fitting Ball app, the title has been working to expand the appropriate options for players. When the ball mounting app started, the equipment was almost entirely available in the Green Grass and Select (Boutique) appropriate location. The title for the current state of things is that Titterist Ball Fitting is now available at the PGA Tour Superstore, Golf Galaxy and Dick’s House of Sports. We are talking about 190 countries across the US

While this is significant, it is actually selling appropriate options. The ball adjustment app is open to all title accounts and the tool has an option for home/matte device with ball -built software flight algorithms to capture the exterior reality in a home environment.

This sets the number of possible assembly sites in thousands.

Caveat for now is that the appropriate ball app is only compatible with Trackman boot monitors which means that the object also needs the current model (2025) Pro v1 rct balls.

It means that there are a number of retail sellers of different sizes used by other technologies – mostly foresight – so it is not lost in the title they need to expand compliance on other platforms.

Future plans

Simple evaluation of the ball adaptation app is that the title wants to continue to create opportunities to adapt the ball to players. This begins with increasing consciousness. Not everyone knows that the right forehead is one thing. Not everyone knows where to do it. Sometimes we forget not everyone has a superstore on the street, but adapting the ball within people is closer to most players than ever before.

Given this, the expansion of compliance in other systems is critical. When I asked Coan about it, he confirmed that it is a priority. “We are definitely trying to use other equipment. This is the best way to say it.”

While there are challenges, this expansion could eventually open the door to make the app that fits the ball in public face. Coan notes, “I would be surprised if eventually on the road, we would not have this working with the equipment facing customers.”

I like to think about adapting as an experience: it is supposed to be fun and if you happen to learn something along the way, the better. At a minimum, with enlarged home mounting options, the ball adjusting is a nice thing you can do on a rainy day.

That being said, not everyone can or want to adapt personally, so, in a perfect world, the app would be available to anyone.

The challenges have not changed. There is a risk of not following the appropriate process which can ultimately result in recommending a ball that will not provide the best performance. The title will need to increase the equipment supported in the consumer space with products such as rhapsodo, Mevo, etc.

There will also be some tools to prove that players are using 2025 Pro V1 balls during the mounting process. As Coan explains, “you have to do Use Pro V1making sure they are using Pro V1 RCT if they are inside. If they do not use either of them, they will receive an incorrect recommendation. “

The pointing is that although some obstacles to access remain, the ball mounting has never been easier or closer to you.

Call your local title dealer or go online to find a ball of ball near you.
