Oleksandr Usyk takes on Tyson Fury in their rematch tonight at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event starts at 11am ET / 5pm UK time live on DAZN PPV, but the main event between unified heavyweight champion Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Fury will be around 6:00 PM ET.
Can Fury Defeat Usyk in Rematch?
A 281-pound Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will look to avenge his loss to Usyk from last May. This one could be interesting if it goes to the scorecards or if Fury gets hurt like last time. Hopefully there is no controversy like the previous fight between them.
11:00 a.m. ET: Today’s Main Card LIVE on DAZN PPV
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2
Moses Itauma vs Demsey McKean – co-feature
Serhii Bohachuk vs. Ishmael Davis
Johnny Fisher vs. David Allen
Peter McGrail v Rhys Edwards
Isaac Lowe vs. Lee McGregor
Dylan Colin (vs. Daniel Lapin
Edgar Ramirez vs. Andrii Novytskyi
In the co-feature, Queensberry-promoted prospect and heavyweight contender Moses Itauma (10-0, 8 KOs) will face Demsey McKean (22-1, 14 KOs). It’s a fight with less riding than the Serhii Bohachuk vs. Ishmael Davis bout, which is a WBC junior middleweight title eliminator. This is a much better fight than the Itauma-McKean clash.
The 19-year-old Itauma is being moved quickly to put him in position to take over after Fury and Usyk retire. He doesn’t look quite ready to fight for a world title or take over for the top men. It is understandable why Itauma’s promoters put him in the co-feature to give him some visibility as he is invisible outside of the UK.
