Duarte says he saw the appearance of fear in Sims’s eyes during their final face on Friday’s weigh -in. He believes that Sims, 31, realizes he is facing to fight him. His chance to get a taste of the big money will not do so if he is beaten tonight.
No fighter can afford to lose. Duarte climbed to this point and won his last three fights after being knocked out by Ryan Garcia in 2023. In Duarte’s last fight, he looked like a machine and rolled into seven rounds over Miguel Madueno in February.
Sims reject the fear of duarte
Sims rejects the idea that he is afraid of Duarte, and he says he will take the belt to him in the ring. Chicago’s native Sims insists that he is better than Duarte in talent. He mentions that the Slugger, Oscar, will be “Be embarrassed” Inside the ring when he schools.
Prograis vs. Diaz: Light Welterweight Support
A fight that many fans look forward to is the most important support bolt between Light Welterweight Prograis (29-3, 24 COs) and ‘Jo Jo’ Diaz (34-7-1, 15 COs). Regis (36) comes in the fight with a losing line with two struggles, and some fans believe he has been rinsed.
His unilateral loss of Devin Haney in 2024 was difficult to look at. Former Super Featherweight Champion Diaz, 32, had even worse problems and lost six of his last eight fights.
