Duarte (28-2-1, 22 COs) will fly blind with this opponent, as Madueno (31-3, 28 COs) is a late replacement after his original opponent, Regis Prograis, was pulled out with an injury
The Golden Boy-promoted Duarte, 28, has won two fights since being knocked out by Ryan Garcia in 2023, but he has not faced a big punchers since the disastrous defeat. Tonight Duarte is fighting against a dangerous man, Madueno, who pushed Keyshawn Davis to the rand last year. It would not be a surprise if duarts were knocked out again, but at least it would display its level.
