Tommy Paul is coming to San Francisco.
The American is set to represent the team world for the third time in the eighth edition of Laver Cup, which will be held at Chase Center in San Francisco from September 19-21.
The 27-year-old, who reached his third quarter-final Grand Slam in Australian Open in January, entered the Top 10 ATP for the first time, reaching a high career ranking of the world no.9.
Currently ranked world no.13, Paul will join Taylor Fritz AND Ben Shelton In the world team of this year’s team, which will be captured for the first time by the American icon Andre Agassi. Team World is making offers for a third title at the event. They claimed their first Laver Cup title in London in 2022 and attended Vancouver’s victory next year, with Paul a part of the team in both cases. Team Europe currently owns the advantage of all time head -to -head in Laver Cup.
Team Europe, led by Yannick Noah, has already announced two of their six -player list for San Francisco, with world no.3 Carlos Alcaraz and the world no.2 Alexander Zverev confirmed.
