Baseball fans are in for a treat on Friday as the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees begin the 2024 World Series in a battle between two of the league’s three most valuable rosters and the two largest media markets.
This will remarkably mark the 12th time the Dodgers and Yankees have met in the World Series, the most in MLB history, though it is the first time they have met in the Fall Classic since 1981.
If there’s anyone who knows a thing or two about winning championships, it’s 7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, and he recently shared his thoughts on the World Series.
Brady appeared on Mad Dog Sports Radio Friday morning to speak with Jim Gray and his longtime head coach Bill Belichick to share his thoughts on the World Series, and he said, I don’t know if I’m rooting for anyone, but it’s great when the Yankees win it. What a great series! Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, you have all the stars. This is one that I think a lot of people will be watching. I can’t wait to watch.”
Headphones, Boston.

That’s not exactly what all the Yankees-hating New England Patriots fans want to hear given the team’s rivalry with the Boston Red Sox, and they’ll certainly be hoping their guy doesn’t get his wish this time around.
As an objective baseball fan, you couldn’t ask for a bigger matchup in the World Series, and we all enjoy it.
Except for Boston fans.
