For Vokey wedges, a copper oil can be seen is perpetual and reverts to 200 wedge series that turn 25 years old in 2025.

As a nod to that past, Titleist is releasing a limited edition Oil Can finish for the Vokey SM10 wedges.

The copper-colored finish of the Oil Can is not the same as the original of more than two decades ago. This time it’s a PVD treatment designed to achieve a rich copper tone while also minimizing reflection and maximizing durability.

“A player has to love his wedge when he looks down, and finish plays a key role,” said Bob Vokey. “Having confidence in your wedge at address is extremely important.”

The limited edition drops will be available in all 27 loft and bounce options available in the SM10 retail line through custom order, including K grind with low inflation recently added, for both righties and lefties. There will also be 12 lofts and bounces (50.08F, 52.08F, 54.10S, 54.12D, 56.08M, 56.10S, 56.12D, 58.08M, 58.10S, 60.010S, 60.010S, 60D). only the right ones.

The oil cans will also come with a Project X wedge shaft with a Vokey exclusive Brushed Chrome finish and a custom Copper Golf Pride Z-Grip Cord with BV Wings to complete the finish. Many other shafts and handles will be available for custom order.

For custom orders, golfers will have the option of choosing eight unique finger engravings with two additional unique oil can only finger engravings.

SM10 oil can wedges will have all the same upgrades SM10 line has to offer, such as optimized loft-based CG locations and new TX9 channels, which are cut narrower and deeper in tighter wedges and wider and shallower in higher lofts.

The limited edition Vokey SM10 Oil Can wedges will be available for pre-order starting at March 18 before they become available globally on March 27.

Each wedge will cost 249 dollars and golfers looking to get their hands on one will have to act fast and the limited edition finish will only be available while supplies last.
