Mini drivers are trending on Tour, with a number of big names adding a bag, including Tommy Fleetwood AND Adam Scott. Why? The mini-driver is a versatile weapon, with a loft that sits between that of a typical driver and a 3-wood, making the club suitable for use off the tee when accuracy is at a premium.
Mini drivers have smaller heads and shorter shafts than standard drivers, making them easier to control and also more forgiving.

Titleist introduced their mini driver, the GT280, last Aprilthree months after the club made its Tour debut with Titleist staff. The club can act as a replacement for a player’s fairway wood, or simply as a “15th club” that can be inserted into the set when course configurations require its use.
The GT280 is designed to be hit from the ground as well as the tip, thanks to the softened toe curve and the decision to drop the leading edge of the club closer to the ground. An “L-Cup” forged uses an insert that wraps around the bottom of the face to help eliminate excess spin and maintain ball speed on low shots.
Now, you can add this innovative club to your bag – for less! Titleist’s GT280 is currently on sale for $100 off its regular retail price. Check it out in detail by clicking the link below and let Fairway Jockey customize your mini driver now!
