Venus Williams has shared the court with Coco gafff as a partner of the opponent and double.

Asked what advice would offer to the 21-year-old Baseliner born to Beach Beach, 45-year-old Venus Williams kept her simple and straightforward.

Williams said she would tell Gauff: be true to yourself and remember you don’t need my advice.

Speaking of Betideas in an exclusive interview, Williams said Gauff has already overcome what most players in her age arrive.

“My advice to – I don’t think she needs my advice,” Williams told Betidea while laughing. “Five main, No. 2 in the world, all those things. She has definitely excelled herself.

“Honestly, she is a role model. There are so many young girls starting because of her. So many young girls, that’s their favorite player. She is just turning alone doing something positive.”

A 15-year-old Gaffi overthrew the famous Williams 6-4, 6-4 at Wimbledon 2019. Months later, Gauff defeated Williams in straight groups in 2020 Australian Open.

These experiences, besides the pairing partnership in Roland Garros of 2021, the thought of Venus reinforced that Coco is a completely unique player and must remain true for herself.

“She has her own style of play,” Williams said. “This is the beautiful part, or not? You don’t have to be someone else.

“You have to be yourself. This is how you become the best player is really knowing who you are, a kind of execution of your game. I’m just very proud of that.”

Years back, Guff shared some information tips in court that Venus gave her during a double match.

When Gauff was still destroying a mistake she made in a preliminary game, she said that Venus addressed her and said, “Do you own a time machine? Because if you don’t have a time machine, we can’t go back and reproduce the point, so let’s go on and focus on another.”

Although the speed of blindness of Gauff’s opponent and the bold backward are her biggest weapons, Venus Williams quotes her strength among her ears as her greatest tennis tool.

“Her mind is so strong,” Venus Williams told Gauff. “She is a fighter and such a competitor. When your mind is the strongest thing, everything else goes on.”
