Tim Bradley explains how Oleksandr Ulsyk Moses Itauma would drown in the second half of a fight

Tim Bradley says Moses Itauma’s first round victory over Dillian Whyte last Saturday night was not enough to prove that he was ready to challenge Oleksandr Ulsyk for his undisputed heavyweight championship.

Itauma’s lack of experience

Bradley points out that 20-year-old Itauma (13-0, 11 COs) has not even gone past six rounds in his two-year professional career. If he is fighting against Ulsyk, the champion will make it a point to take him past six rounds to “drown” him in the second half.

Itauma did not have a long amateur career to prepare him for the top heavyweights such as Ulkyk. As amateur, itauma has only 20 Fights before becoming a pro and not facing the world’s top fighters. In contrast, Oleksandr has 350 Amateur fights, fought the best fighters in the world and won an Olympic gold medal in 2012.

Queensberry has beaten Itauma since he became pro in 2023 and matched him exclusively against travelers. Last Saturday was the last of old washed veterans to fight Itauma with his main assignment against 37-year-old Whyte in Riyadh.

The battle of the British media

The glass that Itauma received for the struggle of British media and uninformed fans showed that they actually believed he was fighting the best in the world instead of another guy for superficial record performances. In other words, smoke and mirrors.

‘Young rifle is not ready for USKyk. He did nothing to let me know, ‘Tim Bradley on his channelTalk about Moses Itauma after his victory over over-the-hill Dillian Whyte last Saturday. “This guy wasn’t six rounds yet. This is exactly what utility would do if he fights against him. He would drown him. ‘

Immediate superstar dare

It looks like Turki Alalshikh Ulsyk will offer him a load of money to defend his four titles against Itauma. Whether he is ready or not, the youngster will be thrown in with usyk in the hope that he has trapped the belts and quickly becomes an immediate superstar. If it works, wonderful. But if it is not, Itauma will be exposed, and the top fighters in the section will have a blueprint to follow how to defeat him.

“Moses Itauma, you look like the right thing, but you’re not ready. There is only one Oleksandr Ulsyk. The skills are not there in the heavyweight section. It’s not like the 90s. It’s not like the 80s. It’s not even like the 70s. Dillian Whyte had a puncher’s chance, ‘Bradley said.

What Itauma needs are eight fights against these top opponents to give himself the experience that he should win a world title and hold on to it. He must fight against these guys:

  • Philip Hrgovic
  • Joseph Parker
  • Fabio Wardley
  • Daniel Dubois
  • Agit Kabayel
  • Richard Torrez Jr.
  • Lenier but
  • Bakhodir Yalolov

Whyte had a puncher’s chance, but he was even too brilliant to try to throw. He looked rust, slow and not strong on the weight. He lost a great deal of weight for this battle, and came to the lowest in a decade. Sometimes when people lose overweight weight, they complain that they are weaker. It seemed to be the case with Whyte. He took out too much pounds in training camp.
