According to reports, Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash Friday afternoon near his home in Jupiter Island, Fla.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is reportedly investigating, and details of the crash, including any possible injuries, have not yet been released. WPTV has photos posted from the place of the accident.
In 2021Woods was involved in a car accident outside of Los Angeles, suffered multiple injuries and was hospitalized for three weeks after surgery. In a statement at the time, Woods “suffered significant orthopedic injuries to his right lower extremity that were treated during emergency surgery.” Injuries included “open comminuted fractures” to the tibia and fibula, requiring a rod to be inserted into the leg.
In 2017, Woods was also arrested in Palm Beach County on suspicion of driving under the influence. Woods later pleaded guilty to reckless driving, agreeing to pay a $250 fine and attend DUI school.
On Tuesday, Woods played with his team in TGL, an indoor simulator-based league.
