The first day in Wimbledon was sunny and hot, but with the occasional rest of a fresh breeze.

Especially the student Tien.

Tien, however, remained composed. He retained the service, then began to work on the return path, adjusting the height and depth of his shooting, changing speed. The moment began to move. By the time the group arrived in a Tiebreak, Tien had saved five points set and was playing more control. He won the circuit breaker 7–5closing it calmly.
In the second set, Tien became more reliable in the initial and more aggressive rallies. He continued to irritate basavareddy with his variety. He split from love to lead 2-Dove, then 3-Dove, and remained stable in service.
In the third set, Tien spread to 1–llog 4-1 lead. At this point, Tien looked confident and it seemed inevitable for him to win. A lady behind me told Basavarddy: “Oh dear, you think he just wants to go home now.”
I’m not sure if that was true. Basavareddy is also a growing American star that plays in the main draw in Wimbledon. But it was a convincing victory for Tie.
Next for Tien, in the second round, is Nicolas Jarry qualifying, who defeated Holger Rune eight in five sets.
