Keith Thurman is still interested in the fight against Tim Tszyu despite his seventh round loss of the WBC Junior Middleweeight Champion Sebastian Fundora last Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Thurman vs. Tszyu: Gold Coast interest
Thurman (31-1, 23 costs) says he is willing to fight the gold coast against Tszyu if they pay him. He does not say how much he wants, but it is probably in the millions. He was spoiled years ago of his money fights against people like Manny Pacquiao, Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter.
Keith’s wasted career
Fans believe that former WBA and WBC welterweight champion Thurman is desperate for a payday. They feel that “once” realizes that he has wasted so much time to sit outside the ring for years that he tries to get the money while he still can.

It is understandable why Tszyu wanted the Rematch with Fundora. With the money they offered Tszyu, he couldn’t say no to the fight. Obviously, he needs more than one to prepare himself for the re -broadcast. Joey Spencer was nowhere good enough to get Tim ready for a second fight against Fundora.
It would have been too risky for Tszyu to delay the re -broadcast, as the 154 pound division is deep from talent. Even the contenders arranged near the bottom of the top 15 would be dangerous for Tszyu. For example, Charles Conwell is on #12. This is someone who would have an excellent chance of beating Tim.
Desperate Thurman wants to fight Tszyu
“They (Tszyu’s promoters) rushed to put him back at the top, and of course they saw that it wasn’t an easy achievement. No, the child is not done, but they must choose the right battles. They have to choose someone who is better than Spencer. But someone who is not a world champion or a hall of famer, ‘Thurman said.
“Once” Thurman is not a Hall of Famer, and it is unlikely to ever be. The management of Tszyu is not going to choose Thurman after what happened against Fundora. They will feed Tim soft opposition and slowly rebuild him. Thurman has to go on and forget about the Tszyu because things have changed.

It’s hard for Thurman. He has wasted so much time in his career and has remained inactive for the past eight years since 2017. He has only fought four times since, and his popularity does not exist now. So, all the fighters he cried are not interested in fighting him because he brings nothing to the table.
