Thurman says Fundora “Don’t want this smoke”

Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman went to social media to risk his frustration with WBC junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora who postponed their fight on October 25 due to a left-hand injury from a sparring session in the camp. The fight can be pushed back to January 2026 to give Fundora time to heal.

‘Funny things’ in the game

Thurman (31-1, 23 costs) believes that something is going on with Fundora (23-0-1, 15 COs) to pull him out. He did not say what he suspected, but you can imagine where his mind is going.

“People don’t believe you, boy; they think you run, They think you are doing funny things in the game. You would not be the first or the last. Fast recovery to you – let’s make history happen. Don’t get back from a big fight, ”Keith Thurman said InstagramSparling Sebastian Fundora for postponing their fight on October 25.

It is kind of pathetic that Fundora is bowing to the defense against an undeserved Thurman, 36, because he did absolutely zero to earn a title shot. He gets the title shot based on what he did 9-13 years ago when he was still active and at the top of his game.

“No one believes you want smoke”

“Nobody believes you want this smoke, baby. Get ready, heal and let’s go to war, ‘Thurman says.

It wouldn’t be the smartest thing in the world for Thurman to do by ‘go to war’ against the much younger, bigger and dare I say more talented 27-year-old fundora. This battle is a pure mismatch on paper, and the odds reflect that.

Wan adaptation on paper

Thurman is a massive underdog in this battle and has done little to earn a world title after just one fight over the past three years.

Thurman money in after three years holiday

Keith’s guaranteed wallet is $ 1.5 million for battle, and he can earn as much as $ 5 million of pay-per-see income and sponsorships.

For a fighter who has been on the shelf for three years, apart from his recent fight against Brock Jarvis at the lower level, that’s good money. It beats to work.

I believe I speak to everyone when I say, Thurman should at least have been fighting some of these sharks to earn a title shot against Fundora:

  • Erickson Lubi
  • Vergil Ortiz jr.
  • Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis
  • Israil Madrimov
  • Brandon Adams
  • Yoenis tellez
