‘Throw a few blows!’: Rolly Romero reveals Turki’s desperate corner pleaded to a loanless Ryan Garcia

Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero says Turki Alalshikh went to Ryan Garcia’s corner during their battle last Friday, trying to motivate him and told him to do so ‘Throw a few blows.‘Ryan (24-2, 20 COs) didn’t try hard to win. Romero (17-2, 13 COs) won a unanimous 12 round decision on Times Square in New York.

Garcia’s defeat destroyed Turki’s plans for a re -broadcast with Devin Haney in October. According to promoter Eddie Hearn, they will have a face-off in the ring after the fight to announce their re-broadcast. When Ryan lost, the plans were abandoned.

Turki’s corner plead

“Turki went to him in his corner and said, ‘What are you doing? Throw a few blows, ” Rolly Romero says to the Danza project About how he says Turki Alalshikh went to Ryan Garcia’s corner during their fight to encourage him to fight harder at Times Square last Friday night. “You can’t, Bro.”

It sounds bad that Turki went to Ryan’s corner to give him a pep talk. It sounds like he gave him one of it, ‘Just win one for the gipper’ Tap speeches to put a fire under Garcia’s back.

“I’ll tell you that. Ryan beat Devin again. Ryan goes on a finish line. You can only say that Ryan is going on a finish line, because Ryan is a tremendous fighter. It was two horrible, ‘Rolly said last Saturday in Riyad, Canelo Alvarez’s collision against Jose Ramirez.

Garcia is likely to beat Haney again because he has the power and size to strike him. He would just have to find out a way to land after Haney, because he would move uninterrupted.

“I couldn’t even see the Devin fight fighting. I was deteriorating. I didn’t want to fall asleep on my way to the arena. These guys don’t have the will to win decisively because they already have fights, ‘says Rolly.

Turki made a mistake to include Haney on the map, where he would be seen by tons of fans. It would have been better to put him on a smaller map and bury his battle below, where he would not be seen by a large number of fans. The only way it would make sense to put him on last Friday’s map is if he is connected to a killer in a sink or swimms battle.

Haney and Canelo clap

“That’s the thing. If you pay fighters too much and tell them that ‘no matter what happens, whether you win or lose, you’re still going to fight. “You just took away their entire will to win.

Haney shocked Jose Ramirez against Jose Ramirez last Friday. It had nothing to do with Devin looking at his next check. He looked Jitterig and 100% nervous to be hit because it seemed like he lost confidence in his power to take a hard shot.

“These people are all fighting, and Canelo is also included now; they are fighting for their next check. They don’t fight to be a champion. They don’t fight to win. They are fighting for their next check,” Romero says.

Ryan, Haney and Canelo’s poor performances were not just because they were fighting for their next check. Garcia and Haney are initially not the best fighters. So, for them to look poor, it should not be a shock because it is mid-the-road fighters.

They had to look better than they actually were through matchmaking and, in Haney’s case, questionable judgment. Canelo is just old and is being washed up. He was able to keep his career going with matchmaking and avoided dangerous fighters such as David Benavidez and David Morrell.
