Akeem Blake won the 100m in 9.84w (2.2) as well as 10.05 (2.0) in the heats, ahead of 18-year-old Tate Taylor (9.95w, 10.05/1.8), Rohan Watson (9.99w) and Ronnie Baker (10.03, 10.8). Lavanya Williams of Jamaica won the women’s sprint heat 10.99w (2.6), 10.98w (2.5) over Dominican Republic’s Lirani Alonso (11.00w).

Monet Nichols jumped to 707w (2.6), also 695 (0.3), winning the long jump from Talia Brooks at 687w (2.8), 669 (1.4) and Akelia Smith at 686w (4.3). Kishan Thompson clocked a world best 14.92 (1.3) in the 150m to beat Tapiwanashe Makaravu (14.96), while Tia Clayton led the women’s race in 16.87 (1.4), ahead of Briana Williams (16.92) and Tina Clayton (7).
Jamal Britt leads the world in the 110m hurdles with a PB of 13.07 (0.8) over Eric Edwards (13.29). Paris Peoples won the women’s 600m 1:23.45 PB from Shafiqua Maloney of St Vincent and the Grenadines (1:23.51) and the 300m was won by Sada Williams in 36.23 NR beating Cherika Jackson (36.51) and the U200m 2000m Jaydande-Jaydanist World British Jaydanist for Jaydanist. 32.43 U20 Europe’s all-time best. All-Star Athletics (Brown, Bednarek, King, Lindsay) clocked 38.52 in the 4x100m, while the Dominican Republic was fourth in 38.70 and Jamaica led the 4x100m medley in 41.24.
