Fighting out is one of the most disappointing griefs you can face during a round, and in this week’s episode Emergency 9, Subpar Drew Stoltz co-perpetrator shared one of his remedies to return a bad driving day.
“I know we all want to hit the beautiful, high, high, but sometimes just eliminating one side of the golf course at least we can make the rest of your movable round, and I’ll show you a tip I use when I am trying to hit left and right that simply simplifies things,” said Stoltz. “It’s not the most beautiful in the world, but it takes me in position, keeps me on the road, at least gives me a chance to play a good golf.”
Stoltz’s secret to the success outside of tee has nothing to do with his shaky mechanics. Instead, it focuses on inserting the ball in a movable position with its height of tee.
“On a typical day, if I am driving it brilliantly, my tee height would be somewhere there,” he said, indicating that his ball would climb about two inches away from the ground. “It gives me a room. I can hit him in the air. To try to move it there.
“When I am driving it bad and I want to eliminate one side of the golf course, which for me is the left side, it is really simple,” he continued. “All I do is, I just move this height of tee down about half of what it was before. So now that ball is still sitting in the air, but it’s too down, and when you hit a driver, it really becomes difficult to hit a draw or anything turning right from this height of tee.”
with lower balls On the ground, Stoltz feels cheaper to target on the left side of the road.
“I know it will be a little lower, maybe not so far, maybe not so beautiful, but it will be on track and give me a chance to go ahead,” he said. “So, are you giving up a little distance? Yes, but that ball is a little lower. It won’t go so far.
So the next time you are in the middle of a round in which the driver is simply not performing, give the tips of Stoltz an attempt to get back to the right path – and your round on the right track.
