In the pre-Kovid days, I was worried about a trend of the golf bag: they just continued to become bigger unnecessary. And I don’t want to say just basket bags; Even the easiest bags of the market were getting bigger and larger.
Seriously, what do people plan to decide on these things? A change of clothes plus Lunch for the turn?
I don’t get it. For me, the only things to keep a golf bag are half dozen golf balls, tees, ball marker, shark marker, a handle, a towel, a rain jacket and, of course, 14 clubs. That’s it.
Fortunately, since the Pandemic Golf Boom, we have seen more people walking again, which in my opinion is the best way to play the game, and bag makers have followed trends with smaller, lighter models.
Some of my latest favorites have also relied on a minimalist aesthetic, with the function of shaping.

with Sunny Mountain Matchplay Swift on Sunday, we have a Uber premium and a clean bag that is also a dream of a walker.
Grounds
Sunday of Matchplay Swift is a smaller version of Sun Mountain’s new matchplay bag. It is the last company of the Company in the Premium Bag, which is populated by title likes, Vessel and Stitch for several years. Much of this style of the golf bag has been using vinyl materials that make the bag durable but also very clean.
The weakness is that these bags can be on the heaviest side.
With Matchplay Swift on Sunday, Sun Mountain went really compact and in accordance with the model, shrinking to the top to only 5.25 inches, more than two inches smaller than the standard version with a top of 3 direction. The result is a bag that weighs 4.75 lbs, rather than 5.4 lbs of the largest version.
Why will I not travel nowhere without Sun Mountain Clublider
Despite its small stature, the bag still has six pockets: a full -length clothing pocket, a smaller pocket on the side, a ball pocket, a string holder, a drink sleeve and a saddle pocket.
Basically, this bag is as if you’ve got a light Sunday bag, attached a stand to it and switch to vinyl material.
What did we like
Let’s get the first concern out of the way: even with only a 5.25 ball, on the Sunday of Matchplay Swift adapts to 14 clubs without any problems. Throw in every MORE Clubs and will start to become clumsy, but you will have no problems holding a full legal group.
The styling of this bag is also very clean and very subjected. There are only four coloring available now: black, marina, sandy almonds and green-white. This is in contrast to the latest lineup of Sun Mountain’s luxury bag, the collection of middle stripsWhich was also very good, but presented many different styles of color block. Nothing is okay with either; They have just taken another direction and are well executed once again.
The polished mountain of the Mountain of Sun in the pocket of clothing is something new, and is very underestimated. Details the smallest details like them and sewing patterns in the pocket of clothing and hip pads that give this bag a premium look.

Of course, keeping the bag is easy given the size, and the super well balances. With the single belt -included connection, this bag should be a dream of a caddy, and I aim to bring it wherever I expect to need a caddy. Like medium -sized bags, match bags have clips that allow you to change double ties and with a belt.
Another view of me is the very strong legs of metallic attitude. Sometimes with smaller residence bags, the companies will be standing, but I think here have stayed here Sun Mountain’s bag: I’ve never seen a bow. In my old Sun Mountain 2.5the legs were made of carbon fibers; Now they have gone to a heavier metal, it seems that. I would like to try and see the American Airlines bend these legs!
What can be improved
We are just a little clumsy here, but I would like to see the pocket of valuable items on the right side was just a little longer. It is just big enough to suit my iPhone, but that means it’s hard to get in and go out when other things are there too.
I have absolutely no problems with the two divisors, but with a part at the top and two at the end, I think this is a point that can be relieved. Maybe only two sections are all that is needed with such a small top. I used the bag once in a wheelchair; This was the only time I had problems attracting clubs inside and out. Mostly, however, this bag is not designed with a knight in mind.
Finally, while I get the appeal with a single belt to be a small bag, if you were to put 14 clubs in this bag, it would be better offered with a double strap.
end
If you are looking for a lightweight premium bag, do not look for further than Sun Mountain Matchplay Swift on Sunday.
The company is doing some really interesting things in the golf bag space now with their recently issued eclipse series, and their new partnership with Joel Dahmen for him to use a Sun Mountain X Marucci Collab bag in PGA Tour.
But with the new Matchplay series, they really have an opportunity for anyone who wants a premium bag and for a itinerant like me, Sunday Swift fits the bill.
