West Bromwich Albion is fighting for a place in the Premier League next season, but Manager Tony Mowbray has sent a notice about promotion to the first flight.
Mowbray thinks West Brom will need a substantial investment during the summer transfer window to keep up to date if they are promoted in the Premier League.
The tastes of Leicester City and Southampton have been very poor at the Premier League this season, although he went very well in the championship last season. West Brom’s head believes that teams like Leeds United could suffer the same destination next season.
“I think for this great football club, what are they doing in the summer?” Said mowbray through Express and star.
“I had a talk with Daniel (Farke) Before, asking what they do this summer? How much will they spend? How will they survive?
“Because obviously, Southampton and Leicester were incredible teams last year in this league and cannot win a game. Then it will be Leeds next year? It would be sad, almost, for the city and for the team.
“If you were Leeds … What will Leeds do this summer? Will £ 200 million will be spent to give -half a chance? Or they will go with this team and will probably be relegated in February. You tell me, I don’t know the answer, but I think it’s modern football. “”
Can you go back to the Leeds Premier League?

Leeds is currently on top of the standings and pressure the promotion. They lost a return to the Premier League narrowly last season and are well located to get an automatic promotion this time.
There is no doubt that they will have to significantly improve the squad during the summer transfer window if they want to compete with the best clubs. It remains to see how the situation develops.
Currently, West Brom is sixth at the league table and they have a good opportunity to do it in play-off positions. It will be interesting to see if the club hierarchy is ready to support Mowbray in the summer transfers if they are promoted in the Premier League.
