Shifting your weight correctly during the golf swing is essential if you want to get the most out of your game. If you are far away only one touch can lead to disastrous results.
In the past, to get in-depth feedback on how you shift your weight and swing, you had to visit a swing trainer with high-tech equipment. However, thanks to an amazing new training aid, that’s changing.
Enter the BAL.ON smart kit. This high-tech training aid — manufactured by German multinational Continental — uses pressure-sensitive soles and devices attached to your shoes to give you instant feedback on key metrics of the golf swing.

The smart kit uses two main components for feedback: force-sensing resistors that are inserted into your shoes and smart caps that are worn on the outside of your shoes. With each swing, the FSRs send pressure data from your feet to the smart pods, which then transmit the information to the app on your smartphone. From there, you can compare your numbers to player data and even data points from tournament pros.
The app also features a coaching feature that will give you specific exercises to practice based on your numbers, taking all the guesswork out of improving.
If you are someone who cannot find the time to go to a swing studio for a lesson, this product is perfect for you. Just turn on your phone, put the sensors on your shoes and take a few swings. Moments later you’ll have instant feedback and a path to improvement.
