Titixi Pro v1 dot left Golf Ball has accumulated a cult below. It has never been added to the retail formation, and is only available in selected equipment, tours and limited omissions on a random schedule from the title. Even when those omissions are hit, you are allowed to buy only two boxes at the same time from the title. Then the question is then, why? Why is pro v1 is left so much sought after? And with this amount of popularity, why has it not made the ball out of “Custom Performance Option” program?
The difference between pro v1 and pro v1 left
As a V1 variant, the left option dot takes on the sensation and performance of the short games that players love from standard pro v1 and tear the performance of the long game. In your longest cuffs and forests, the left point will start a rotation just a lower touch. This lower, more penetrating trajectory is partly due to spherical plates, 352 dimple tetrahedral design of the left point, compared to 388 standard model pro v1. Thirty-six pale may not look like a big difference, but keep in mind the size of a golf ball-is a big difference. Many players have also said that this new flight is extremely stable in high winds, which can be worrying about lower rotation golf balls.

To whom is the left point?
Although change in performance is easy to understand – and in my testing easy to see – it’s not an easy ball to fit. Pro V1 is already the lower version of the lower performance formation of the title when compared to Pro V1x. So it takes a special player to need the advantages of the left point of pro V1 and its lower, lower rotation properties. My personal concern when putting players on the lower spin-Golf balls is to have a low rotation loss. If you do not produce enough rotation, the ball will drop out of the air faster, especially on the towing side. Yes, I’m talking about that scary kick of the duck. So, for me, if a player is looking at something like pro v1 left dot, they should be in full control of their golf ball. This usually means that they player have the ability to produce rotation, or that they are already a high rotation player that is able to get rotation when they need.
I like to tell the players that we want to find them a golf ball that naturally sits in a usable window and rotation than to force that favorite window by choosing whatever golf ball make their equipment work. For a good player who is able to check their flight really well, Standard Pro V1 is likely to control all the boxes. It’s a gorgeous golf ball with a very neutral rotation and release profile that leaves room for the player to manipulate it.

However, the left point would work hard in a player’s bag, whose start ceiling is just slightly high, and the spoils of their equipment are not questioned. It also makes for a great golf ball in less than ideal conditions. A lower flight usually gives more control, especially in wind conditions. In one Social media posting of the title from 2021Tony Finau said about the left point: “Very very stable. Crossings, the wind down, in the wind, I seem to pick up the right numbers with it.”
Why didn’t the ‘performance performance options’ leave the title?
The short answer is that there is not enough real requirement for performance for the golf ball. It accounts for less than 6 percent of all use of the title in large tournaments. Wons have won diplomas, is in the bag with big names like Finau and rising star Jake KNAPP, but it is still a very warm golf ball. Its use is not as widespread as something like the pro v1x (left left) title, which was also originally a CPO offer. This does not mean that the golf ball has not inspired any further concessions. The nucleus of the High Gradient Process Corner now in the Standard Pro V1 was originally created in the left model Dot, and then after testing and success, it was brought to the Golf Ball Golf Ball Pro V1.
Fall models in the CPO program continue to be tested and approved in retail formations. As I said above, it is just a warm client for this golf ball, and for the overall consumer base, it is likely that it will not be a great benefit for players playing a pro V1. Most players may probably switch to a lower lofted driver, or find a better axis for their driver and call it one day. But at the highest levels of golf, with the highest amount of control over their golf ball, some elite players prefer to play their left point and enjoy his benefits.
Golf balls have already been sold at Titeist.com, but search around, as there are some other sources with some still in stock before you have to collect on eBay for some.
