Decent AND Ping There were the first two domains that fell sponsoring the Liv Golf teams earlier this season. But these two announcements have our fully equipped team asking themselves … who is else?
In this full-ended Golf episode, co-desirer Johnny Wunder thought that Cleveland/Srixon would be the other company that would partner with a Liv Golf team, but the team agreed that a company would be perfect for doing an action as well.
“What about Cobra?” Co-president Kris McCormack asked Wunder as he was withdrawing from other possible brands. “Think Cobra will get in the mix?”
Cobra is in the unique position to sponsor a liv team like none of Current staff players are in Liv Golf now. The two partnerships that have been announced so far, Callaway and Ping, made sense because three of the four players on Jon Rahm’s Legion XII team played Callaway clubs while all four of the Torque GC players of Joaquin Niemann were already equipped with Ping Gear.
Cobra does not have the presence in Liv yet, but Wunder thought they would be a great condition.

“I think Liv, for Cobra, is the perfect environment for their product, for their vibrancy,” Wunder said. “Like, it’s moving quickly, it’s new. Like this for me is a kind of vibe cobra and you get that vibe when you see their equipment.”
Since it was purchased by the parent company Acushnet Title from Puma, Cobra has received a newest vibe and access, along with basic technologywhich would join well with Liv Golf’s “Golf, but stronger” label.
They also have an advantage of not connecting with a traditional heritage, decades long like other brands.
“They’re not a big aircraft carrier. They’re more of a fight, right?” Said Wunder. “For them to run and do something delightful, you are not changing production plans for six years or marketing plans to do it as some of these companies are. Cobra is still quite agile.”
