Ninety -three is a terrible number to post in Masters.
But it is a nice result to get from wine expert Robert Parker.
If Scottie Scheffler had that figure in his mind before this year’s tour is hard to say, but a summer sanctioned by Parker, with 93 points is what he chose to pair with his 2025 Masters Champions Dinner.
The 2019 Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay, to be accurate, was produced by the BOOCH family basement in the Russian River valley, north of San Francisco, where lands like land in Augusta National and volcanic land is excellent for grape growth.

2019 Chardonnay- Ritchie Vineyard
$ 300
Cultivated by owner Kent Ritchie since 1972, this vineyard produces wine with rare intensity and complexity. With the old vineyards inserted into steep benches leading to the Russian River, Ritchie Vineyard lies in the heart of the appointment of the Russian River valley.
“Peach White” and “Anise” are not holes in Augusta. They are two of the descriptors that Parker’s summer lawyer included in his enjoyment notes along with the score 93 points.
“In the mouth, it is full body, stuffed and mouth filling,” the revision continued to say, with notes “Light Agrusy” at the bottom.
Surely, ’79 Masters Champ Zeller fuzzy Similar remarks this evening last evening as he bowed a glass of complex white back, washing it with fiery shrimp lit by Thai burning.
The firecracker shrimp was one of two snacks on the Scheffler menu. The other was the cheese sliders, who, as if and Ribeye who came later in the meal, begged a red. Not to be worried: the defensive champion chose one of them as well.
It too came from Northern California: Vineyard 7 & 8 of 2011, Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, from the Mountain Spring district of the Napa valley, where CAB is king.
It happens so that 2011 was a challenging year in the Napa Valley, according to Ed Manetta, a respected California -based sommelier. “Patience and care were asked,” Manetta says. Champondo Champion Masters would no doubt connect.
The repayment came later in the bottle.

2011 Vineyard 7 & 8, Cabernet Sauvignon Assets
$ 238
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon’s assets follow the incredible 2018, and shows that two truly extraordinary wines can come from the back and back years. Starting with a very dark red ruby core, the nose explodes with red cherry compote, sweet black licorice, red currants, purple, white pepper and well -integrated oak notes. In the palate summer shows a very dense core of concentrated red fruit, black pepper, five spices, crushed espresso beans, all as they represent a fresh fresh, structured tension and a finish that persists after the last taste. This is a summer that will show very well with a quick decant after release, and will continue to tell further stories for a 20+ solid years. We can’t wait to share this amazing with you!
“Rich and full, intense and saturated” is what Parker’s publication said about this summer-linguist who also applies to ’82 Masters Champ Craig Stadler.
Both selected scheffler wines are the collector’s articles. But unlike the champions dinner itself, it is not even out of bounds for the general public. Chardonnay receives $ 300 for a package, while online retail cabins for about $ 200.
The chances are that you will never play the game like Scottie Scheffler. But you can always dinner like him at home.
