Jannik sinful made stories Sunday in Wimbledon, defeating Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to become the first Italian to ever win a title of Wimbledon’s bachelors.

Before the grass cuts are placed, let’s take a look at what else the sinner arrived in the title.

4 – Sinner wins his fourth big title, and is so far the most successful Italian player in this regard. Sinner connects Jim Courier, Ken Rosewell and Guillermo Vilas on the list of men’s single titles for all time.

20 – The 20th Title of Sinner puts it in a tie with Daniil Medvedev to fifth on the active list of ATP titles.

100 – The sinner struck the sign of the century in the Grand Slam matches, improving in 81-19 in Majors. Only one Italian player – Nico Pietrangeli, 94 – has won more.



6 – The sinner became the sixth player who reached four consecutive final finals in the open era, joining Agassi, Djokovic, Feder, Laver and Nadal.

Arriving in all four main finals in his 23rd major appearance, the sinner has achieved it faster than everyone, except for two players – Courier, 19 and Agassi, 22.

4 for 7 – Sinner has won four of the last seven titles of big bachelors on the offer, with Alcaraz taking the other three.

3 – With his title, the sinner becomes one of the five players aged 23 or under the open era to hold three titles of men’s bachelors in Grand Slams, along with Connors, Sampras, Feder Nadal.
